Philippe Legault is a product-focused full-stack software developer and designer from Canada. His mission is to bring to life elegant user interfaces with an intuitive user experience.

Philippe’s cross-functional skillset has been key to the success of the projects he led, because he can reconcile technical, product, marketing and artistic needs, starting from the project’s infancy (user flows, mockups and requirements) to its implementation. Philippe currently works at Forge, a stock market for private company stock, where he leads the development of user-facing websites and digital marketing, with technologies such as React, Vue, Typescript, Scala and PostgreSQL.

Some of Philippe’s other recent work include the design and implementation of a website for asset management firm EQUIAM. In his past role as Director of Digital Media for Enactus uOttawa, he led the website development, marketing and branding for both the Legacy Conference and the deCODE Hackathon.

Philippe holds a Master of Computer Science from the University of Ottawa (Canada) with a specialization in combinatorial optimization and has been published in the SIAM Journal on Discrete Mathematics. He is currently working towards a Master of Mathematics at Emporia State University and expanding his understanding of the financial world by studying for the Series 7 exam.
